In Imaginations between the Realms we do not subscribe to one-sided views of any kind. Thus, one meaning of Imagining between the realms is to imagine between different ways of thinking. Yet one could ask why to imagine? Or when to imagine, when we are constantly busy in our lives, going forward to some important goal? 

Our answer in Imaginations between the Realms project is to promote action and new ways of doing, and at the same time imagine between the realms of doing and being. Imaginations between the Realms is therefore a championing of imagination, even in the face of adversity. Our approach is interdisciplinary and aims to support all manifestations of modesty, curiosity and openness. For this end, we have created a blog for writings which foster this kind of action. Blog posts are openings in themselves and by their nature, direct our thinking to ‘between realms’. 

Additionally, we want to acknowledge references of all fields which enlarge our thinking. We believe that our idea can be illustrated in many ways, such as in the musical piece by Topi Lepojärvi.
